"The Way We Worked Lectures Series at the Hegeler Carus Mansion" is provided by the Hegeler Carus Foundation. The Series accompanies "The Way We Worked," a Smithsonian exhibition, that comes to La Salle County in April. The exhibition explores how work became a central element in American culture. "The Way We Worked," an exhibition created by the National Archives, is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and State Humanities Councils nationwide.
